Located in downtown Long Beach, this European-style boutique hotel was originally built in the late 1920s by circus performer Dolly Varden. The hotel features Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and historic airshafts transformed into natural light sources. Guests have convenient access to the Aquarium of the Pacific, Pine Avenue, and Catalina Island via the nearby Catalina Express.
